No visa is required for a stay of less than or equal to 3 months, but a valid passport is required.

After three months, a visa and a residence permit must be obtained from the Ministry of Interior. In case of on and off stay, the exit from the territory must be authorized by the Department of Borders and Foreigners.

For people with dual citizenship or citizens of other nationalities: they must contact the consulate of Tunisia in France to learn about the terms of entry the country on the departure date.

As for minors, the law on June 3, 2016 on the fight against terrorism and the decree on November 2, 2016 reinstated the authorization of exit for minors. As of January 15, 2017, a minor unaccompanied by a person with parental authority will no longer be able to leave the country without an exit permit. The territory exit authorization will be exigible for all the minors residing in France and whatever their nationality may be.
